Author Guide

Requirements for authors to comply with ethical standards (publication ethics, plagiarism policy, conflict of interest, authorship, author rights, review, role of funding source, open access, contracts, etc.

The authors are fully responsible for the accuracy and selection of the facts, quotations, statistics, proper names, geographical names and other information, as well as for using data that is not intended for the public publication. The scientific materials to be included in the journal must adhere to

international standards of ethics. Scientific publications, as a rule, are developed and

approved by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The main duty of the Editorial Board is to comply with ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community and to prevent various violations of these norms, both in their own work and in relations with all participants in the process of creating scientific publications in the journal “Eurasian Arabic Studies”.

Originality and plagiarism

Authors are obliged to provide guarantees of originality of their scientific work. In case of implementing works of other authors it is necessary to provide the corresponding references. Plagiarism can exist in various forms: representation of another author's work as the author's, copying, paraphrasing or correction of certain parts of other works (without attribution), a statement of their own rights to the results of other people's research. Plagiarism is unethical and is considered unacceptable.

The simultaneity and multiplicity of publications

Authors of scientific publications are obliged to guarantee the provision of original work. The author has no right to publish a manuscript that is devoted to the same specific research in more than one scientific journal as an original publication. The author does not submit a previously published scientific article for analysis in another journal. Publication of a certain type of articles (for example, translated articles) in more than one scientific journal is allowed in some cases under specific conditions. The editors and authors of the journals concerned must agree to re-publication, which provides similar data and interpretations, as in the primary published scientific work.

The bibliography of the primary work should also be presented in the second publication.

Recognition of primary sources

Recognition of the contribution of other persons is mandatory in all cases. Authors should provide references to publications relevant to the performance of the submitted work. The data that was obtained during a private conversation, correspondence, or discussion with third parties, should not be used or represented without written consent of original source.

Authorship of publication

The authors of the publication are only persons who have made a significant contribution to the formation of the main idea of the work, execution or interpretation, as well as the development of the presented research. The author should be sure that all co-authors approved the final version of the scientific work and agreed with its submission for further publication.

Significant errors in published works

In case the authors find various errors or inaccuracies in the scientific publication, the authors are obliged to report it to the journal and interact with it for immediate removal of the publication and subsequent correction of errors. In the case that the Editorial Board receives information from third parties that the published work contains a significant error, the authors are obliged to remove the work or to correct errors in the shortest possible time.

STANDARDS OF EDITORIAL STAFF ETHICS

Publication decision

The Editorial Board of the journal “Eurasian Arabic Studies” makes its own decision about publication of the scientific paper, taking into account the opinion of the reviewers. The decision is based on the scientific significance of the scientific work under consideration. The Editorial Board of the scientific journal is based on the policy of the editorial Board of the journal “Eurasian Arabic Studies”, acting in accordance with the legal norms in respect of copyright, plagiarism, slander, legality.

Privacy

The editorial Board of Eurasian Arabic Studies journal does not disclose information about the accepted manuscript to outsiders, except for the authors and reviewers without a significant need.

Supervision of publications

Having convincing evidence that the statements or conclusions presented in the publication are erroneous, the Editorial Board is obliged to take measures to notify of changes or withdrawal of the publication.

THE STANDARDS OF CONDUCT OF THE PUBLISHER

The responsibility of the publisher is to follow the principles and procedures that contribute to the implementation of ethical standards by the editors, reviewers and authors of the Eurasian Arabic Studies journal. The publisher supports the Editorial Board in considering various claims to ethical aspects of the published materials and helps to establish and develop interaction with other scientific journals, if this increases the degree of fulfillment of the editorial duties. The publisher provides specialized legal support (conclusion or advice) in the case of needs.
